I'm weary of asian hair salons - sometimes things get lost in the translation and while they nod their heads, final haircut is nothing like what I described or pointed out in a picture.
With that said, I thought I would try out the place bc of the reviews. I originally wanted Gina but couldn't get her so took a chance with someone else. Ayumi (I think, or close to it) cut my hair.
Ok, so I have thin hair but a lot of it and it's just below my shoulders. I needed a clean up though, so without bringing a picture (though had a few on my phone in case) I told Ayumi that I was growing my hair, needed a cleanup with my layers, wanted some shape and volume ... and away she went.
I'd say she was a tad bit on the slow side, but not overbearingly so. Sometimes I get nervous if they are slow bc it gives me the impression that they are not confident with the scissors and that scares me!! But final cut was not bad. I waited a few days though to see how the cut behaved after I washed and styled it myself before I posted this. I am happy to say that I'm quite satisfied with it, especially with a cost of $30. If there was any complaint I'd say that she could have done just abit more at the back but nothing that I would complain about. It still works fine and I'm quite happy :-) !
Happy enough that I would go again.
