  • Ok...honestly I feel terrible about giving this place an honest review. The owner was very sweet and I don't want to hurt her business. However...there were a few things I can't overlook and I feel like people have to know. I had a spa pedicure. Yes, $25 is a good price. She is very friendly....keep in mind she is the only one that works here so if you want to go with another person to get your nails done...you will have to get them done one at a time. I have had pedicures a million times and it's always the same basic procedure. Soak feet, push up cuticules with the metal thing, trim them with the cuticle clippers, etc. Instead, the owner took a USED nail file...and proceeded to push up my cuticles with the end of the USED NAIL FILE. The nail file was actually warped from using it on so many people for this purpose. DISGUSTING. I almost walked out at this point but I figured I'd give her a chance since she was so nice. This process filed down the TOPS of my nails, not the tips...which I am sure weakened them. She then put a dab of lotion on each toenail, touching the lotion bottle to each nail, which I am sure has touched hundreds of random people's toenails. Again, disgusting. She then "sort of" used to correct metal tool to push up my cuticles, but in a very haphazard way...it hurt really bad and I'm surprised I didn't bleed. She then shoved this tool under my nails to clean them....which they normally do but with STERILE tools. It was obvious to me that she uses the same tools on every person and most likely does not even clean them after...definitely does not properly sterilize them. She did not trim the cuticles. She used to cuticle trimmer to pick at some calluses on my toes from the heels I wear, but she did not trim my cuticles....I guess that's what the nail file was for? To file down the cuticles instead of trimming them? She gave me a nice exfoliation...however once again she used a scrubber that was not disposable. It seriously looks like she just rinses it off or something between people, god knows how long she's been using that same thing. As far as I can tell it looks like she did a good job painting my nails. I haven't really looked closely yet. I don't really want to even think about my feet...thinking about what possible diseases I just got is giving me the creeps. I went to go get a pedicure to relieve stress and instead this experience really stressed me out. I was tense the entire time because it was uncomfortable, painful, and unhygienic. I am actually pissed at myself for not walking out when I had a bad feeling in the beginning. As far as nails go, STAY AWAY.
