  • I love Gritz.. I really do! Its small and feels intimate in only a way a mom and pop restaurant feels. The staff are hit or miss. Sometimes they visit the table more times than you actually care to see them.. and other times you have to ask them to the table. Not a complaint, just an observation. My only issue with Gritz... is the paper plates and plastic silverware. I understand the business is small and probably doesn't have a complete full kitchen to manage washing multiple plates ect.. but it feels cheap.. and while the food is reasonable it is not cheap.. if that makes sense. the food itself is always good, I have never come here and not been satisfied. The chicken.. flavorful, the grits.. creamy, the fish... piping hot... I look forwarding to seeing Gritz possibly expand and being more of a force in the valley. I think they have the potential.
