  • If there is a Coffee Shop to be used as a template for all others to be constructed, Erie Island Coffee Company in Rocky River should be the prototype. Modernly chic and minimalist, yet still cozy and inviting. This place is charmingly cute. I especially like the giant glass wall on the front of the building that opens up like a garage door and creates a nice flow between the outdoor alfresco dining and the interior of the shop. Along with the typical roasted bean beverages, they also offer various teas, smoothies and an appropriate variety of refreshing food ranging from various Panini's on ciabatta, multiple light and fresh sandwiches served with an apple or banana, salads, bowls of seasonal fruit, veggies and hummus along with multiple pastries including muffins and scones. Erie Island Coffee, I adore you.
