  • Yelp, you failed me this time. -this salon is in a basement of a residential building in a residential area. I would be fine if they make the basement to be at least clean. No, it is disgusting with all the dusty old pipes making loud noises. I would not be surprise if I see rats while Miranda was cutting my hair. -the sign says '$$' so I was not expecting to be spending $60 for a haircut. I was expecting to only spend $40 top. I felt tricked by yelp. If Miranda is charging $60 for a haircut, the sign should be '$$$$' which means $40++. I could not find information for price, so I guess she priced everyone differently? -I called and made an appointment, but guess what? I had to wait at least 20 mins. Miranda is the only cutting, dying hair. So, she was on 4 different customers. If I am required to call and made appointment, I expect to have her full attention. There was only 2 seating place, so one other person had to wait on the guest chair while waiting for her dye to set. -today, my friend said that the left side of my hair is not equal to the right side. Did not surprise me. Sigh...
