A week after my house was finished I went to a side of the home that I rarely go to. I found my antique train tie ax that was on display with some other antiques broken, and hidden in an old barrel. I inspected a small tree that grows along the house and found that the branches that were rubbing against the house were chopped off using the ax and that the tree had been butchered. I called Steve to talk about the broken ax and the condition of the tree. He denied that any of his workers would have done that and tried to blame my landscaper. Since I do my own landscaping, he changed his story and said that maybe his guys did it, but he refused to pay to fix my broken antique, or to pay for the tree surgeon that I called out to repair the tree and make sure it did not die from the damage. Steve's customer service skills were terrible, even after I had given him several referrals for other homes to be painted. Don't take your chances with these guys.
