Worst CVS experience and sadly it's the one closest to my house ..
I go in with a 40% coupon and intended to buy toilet paper that was priced for 10.99,wait in line and no one was at the register&No one in line.a few seconds later I hear a voice "I'll be right there" *proceeds to ring the vacuum cord around the vacuum, put the vacuum away , then comes to the register*
I presented her with the 40% off coupon looking at the pin pad & the 40% had not been taken off. There was this awkward silence like she was waiting for me to pay,I asked her if the 40% coupon wasn't working. she looked at it for a second , then responds with that I would not be able to use the coupon because the item was "on sale" and that the coupon doesn't apply to items that are on sale.I told her that it was not on sale or at least that's what the price tag said right below it .. she doesn't even take a step away from the register to double check to figure out what the price tag said ! She then responds with "we haven't put the new sales tags out yet because we're waiting for our Sunday ad to come out " .....
IT'S FRIDAY? Why are you about to falsely advertise your prices to customers like that? There was this awkward silence then I asked her "would you be able to tell me what toilet paper isn't on sale so I could use this coupon?" "No I wouldn't be able to tell you"
The most lazy crappy customer service I have gotten ... ever .
-didn't walk to even do a price check
-doesn't even walk me to the toilet paper that isn't on sale
-doesn't do anything to make the moment right for the customer .
I will now drive 15 mins to the CVS on Craig for WAY BETTER SERVICEEEE.
