So I stayed here for a little vacation. I was in town for the life is beautiful festival. Although this hotel was not close to the festival grounds It was more than sufficient. The good: when you walk in there is an awesome smell going through the lobby. This is not a joke. The lobby smells amazing! I'm not sure if they are pumping flavored scents through the vents but it's very welcoming and makes you feel instantly happy. We had the junior suite and were quite impressed as soon as we walked in. It was quite spacious. They had a full kitchen with a dishwasher a full refrigerator and a microwave with a granite counter with barstools. The next room was a laid out living room areawith a pool out couch and a large I believe 50 inch television in the room. If you didn't want to watch the TV it was also a put in the room with a projection screen. That was a very nice feature considering that it was football season and I want to watch a game! The window blinds were electric and were let down by remote control. That was a great convenience within itself as well as the biggest sun can be quite bright in the morning. The bedroom is lovely as well it was a king size bed and I must say it was quite comfortable and also to the side of that was a Jacuzzi tub large enough for two people and it was separated from the bathroom. The bathroom was gorgeous too. It had a standup shower as well as a television in the bathroom which I found pretty cool as well. One of the main things that I absolutely loved that the room had a washer and dryer on the inside. They also had a large laundry room as well. So I guess no going home with dirty clothes. And that's always a good thing. Downstairs was A bar and also a great pool area. The pool was large and had lots of space for all the guest whether you wanted just to put your feet in the water or to actually take serious swim. Right outside of the lobby was a mall that was connected that made everything quite convenient as you didn't have to leave and go outside to go shopping or to get a bite to eat. They made it quite difficult to actually leave the facilities because everything was so at your fingertips. I also love the fact that you could check in early and check out late that was really a big perk for us because we get there a little bit earlier than usual. OK that was the good. Here's the bad: it's a bit difficult to locate. Our cabdriver didn't seem to know where it was. Luckily we had Google maps on our phones to help find it. Before getting there every time I would call I would get put on hold for quite some time and could never get my questions answered. I booked through Expedia and if I had certain questions they would tell me to call Expedia and then Expedia would tell me to call the Elara so that was becoming quite frustrating. I guess what I'm saying is before you stay here make sure you know all of your questions and I have all of your answers or you will be on the phone a while or going back-and-forth trying to figure them out.Upon arriving we also get the whole "how about a timeshare" routine from the people working there. I guess that's how they build membership and make money I just think there's enough of that going on in Las Vegas. We want to have breakfast by the pool. They made us pay extra for that. I wasn't a big fan of that considering we were already paying for our room and or gas there. They also were charging quite a bit for the cabana that were next to the pool and that put me off a little bit as well. As far as the rooms go although they were gorgeous they were trying to charge you for Wi-Fi. It's a beautiful hotel and we loved it but we did pay quite a bit to get the suite I couldn't understand why Wi-Fi wasn't complementary so I was a bit annoyed by that. Lastly this may seem a bit petty but the said television in the bathroom was made by Coby. Which is a knockoff brand at least in my opinion of Sony. I was kind of surprised to see that brand in such a lovely establishment. Overall I would stay here again and would recommend going here to any of my friends and family I would just hope management would tweak those few things.
