  • As a Christmas gift and wonderful surprise, I was brought to the anti-gravity yoga class! I was so excited when we walked into the room with the hanging fabric, I knew it was going to be one hellava experience. The instructor was kind, understanding and thorough. She let us feel welcome and even if a pose was difficult to get into, she waited patiently and didn't call out anyone in front of the class. The poses were done inside the fabric, cocoon style, and also intertwined between stretches and a few upside-down (if you're comfortable with that position). The room held about 8 people, industrial ceilings, wood floors, natural lighting, mirrored walls. Synergy has yoga mats in case you don't bring your own, and you are instructed to wear a long sleeve, fitted shirt and yoga pants. We were also barefoot, which I loved and the music was very relaxing. I will have to find one of these classes in LA :)
