| - Great little shop, great atmosphere, and super-friendly staff. You can tell they love what they do.
A very good place to find a unique gift for a girlfriend, mom, or daughter. Also fun to peruse for home decor items, and if you're crafty, you'll always leave with new ideas brewing.
They have really cool workshops for making fun things, that you can find out about on FB or, I just signed up for their email newsletter. They sell and teach Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. It's pricey, but it's pricey anywhere you buy it. Thankfully, a little goes a long way. Also, they do discounts on some of their event days!
Another reviewer mentioned she found the recipe for chalk paint, and then tossed that in the face of one of the employees... 1)Why would you say such a thing to a salesperson? 2) Anyone can google 'chalk paint recipe', and if you have time for that, great! No need to be snarky.
But if I'm about to re-do my kitchen cabinets, (ugh), I think that's enough work...I don't also want to make the paint. It may be a little painful, but I'll opt to purchase a tried and true, worry free paint and support a local business while I'm at it. So worth it each time I finish a project!
Lastly, I love having this shop just 3 miles from home; don't always have an entire afternoon to go down to Melrose! Need more stuff like this in the burbs!
Oh, but I'm going to go down to four stars for being too close to Dunkin donuts while I'm on a diet. LOL! You finicky Yelpers! Ha ha!
