I've been going here for two years. I've overlooked the broken down chairs and occasional gruffness from the woman who takes your money. I used to ask for Dat (one of the two men who work there) until He really hurt me digging at the corner of my big toe. Telling him it hurt did no good. He kept laughing like I was joking about it. The last two times, I've asked for Lee. The first one was good, but yesterday he butchered my heels and left peeled places on my toes.
I've posted pictures. He cut me using the blade. He didn't ask, he just used it. Then, he did an aggressive buffing with a pumice bar until he burned my heels to the point that I can barely walk today.
I tip well and I'm always friendly and polite, so he wasn't getting even for being treated rudely. I even paid and tipped him $10 yesterday before I realized the extent of the damage to my feet.
Don't get a false sense of security from others' positive experiences and reviews. I was a fairly happy customer happily walking in for a cheap deluxe pedicure many times. Not only will I not be walking back through their door ever again, thanks to this place, I won't be walking anywhere for the next couple of days.
How is this place still in business?
