  • I put my daughter in this day care part time because I worked nights and my husband worked during the weekdays. So she went only three days a week on the nights I worked. We picked this tutor time over the other tutor time I interviewed with off alma school and Germann because (1) it was on the way to my husband's work in the morning, (2) it was slightly cheaper than the other location, and (3) my husband was able to workout after work then pick up my daughter right after since the LA fitness was next door. We had to find a daycare fairly quick because my father-in-law who usually watches my daughter had knee surgery and was going to be out for a few months. I talked with my coworkers and they recommended tutor time. For the first few weeks I thought the place was nice, the staff was nice and my husband and I liked the morning teacher in the toddler 2 room. Being that my daughter never went to daycare prior, naturally she cried when we dropped her off and when we would pick her her. But after a while my husband would always notice when he would pick her up that she always came home with her clothes dirty, she looked like a mess, she would be by herself crying and no one went to go comfort her. He would pick her up in the afternoon so the teacher was different. The staff lost her socks twice, she got jello on her shirt during arts and crafts time because the teacher forgot to put a smock over her, and the last time I picked her up before we dis-enrolled her I peeked in the window before going into the classroom and saw her walking around in her socks holding one shoe and the other shoe in her mouth!! There were about 12 kids or so in the classroom that day and the teachers were busy. But come on! You are letting my daughter suck on her dirty shoes and let her cry in the corner? I think there is no consistency between the staff and child ratio. The staff seems overworked, and it's usually young unqualified girls who are caring for these kids and I just felt like they didn't care for my daughter at all. I was very unimpressed with this tutor time. It has ruined my idea of daycare because I'm trusting you to look after my child and tend to her needs. But she looks more relieved when we pick her up and it makes me think she's telling us never to bring her back. I wouldn't recommend sending kids here. The teacher to child ratio is not even and the staff is too overworked to thoroughly care for your child. I'm very unhappy with this location.
