  • If I could leave -1 I would. I get my hair done there by Stacey and Love her to death. BUT AGAIN today I went in with my dog in his carrier (he was riding on our motorcycle) and this woman who doesn't even work for Ulta was staring me down again and talking about me. It all started a year and a half ago when I was bringing my hairdresser and friend a Christmas gift with my dog at the time who was a Therapy Dog. This woman stopped me, stood right in front of me and told me she's a manager and I can't have a dog in the store. I explained she was a therapy dog and I was just running in to drop off a gift. She yelled at me in front of the whole store. I left and told my hairdresser and her and the store manager talked me into coming back. The REAL manager told me she's not a manager and she doesn't even work for Ulta. I was shocked. The REAL manager explained dogs are absolutely allowed in the store. We live in AZ and it's very dog friendly. Fast forward about a year when my dog passed, after some time we got a puppy. He goes everywhere with me. He's only 7 lbs. I try to avoid going in there when that woman is there. The last time I saw her a few months ago, she was helping a woman find her daughters first makeup. Since she works for LancĂ´me, she was pushing that on her. The Mother kept telling her she wanted something younger and lighter for her daughters first makeup. I happened to be shopping for makeup and when she left the customer for a minute, I told her to try Bare Minerals, I use it and it's very light. When this woman came back and saw us talking, she looked at the customer and pointed to me and said "was she talking to you" "is she bothering you". Like I'm not allowed to talk to other customers??? I didn't have my dog with me so I guess she had to find another way to be mean. Fast forward to today, we stopped because I needed a few things and she was there. If looks could kill. She kept staring us down and as we're leaving she was talking to another employee and kept looking at me and talking to him. I finally had enough and said in front of the whole store (like she did to me) "look, if you have a problem with me, just come to me". I also said "every time I come into the store and your here, you have a problem". The employee she was talking to said "she was just talking about your dog". I'll bet she was. She's obviously not a dog person and my dog is 7 lbs and wouldn't hurt anyone. He's also a Therapy/Service Animal. Then her attitude kicked in. I'm so done with Ulta. I will miss my wonderful hairdresser and I spend a ton of money there but I'll be shopping at Sephora from now on. I can't believe Ulta would allow a woman to work there and treat customers like this. Shame on them.
