Brother Tom's serves breakfast and lunch, in addition to selling a small assortment of baked goods. This review is only for the bakery.
I popped in here on a whim to buy a birthday cake last minute and was pleased overall with my purchase and the service. There were only three small cakes from which to choose, and I bought the vanilla batter-raspberry swirl cake with buttercream icing. The cake was very moist and tasty, but the icing was super sugary and kind of crisp. (I prefer a smooth and creamy icing, but it wasn't the end of the world.) I also tried a cookie and a ladylock. Both were good, but not memorable.
On display, there were several different types of doughnuts, a few varieties of cookies, and some random sweets for sale. I was pretty disappointed in the selection, but it could be because the bakery just opened a couple months ago. I'll probably try this place again in the spring.
