This is one of those places you never want to visit but are so thankful they're there.
I recently had a cat get very sick very quickly, and of course it was on the weekend when my regular vet was closed. He could barely move and we had no idea what was going on with him. So, at midnight on a Saturday night, we took him here.
The staff and doctor could not have been more caring and compassionate. If you think about what they're doing...working blindly on your pet without knowing their full medical history...it's amazing what they do. They were able to keep my cat there until Monday morning on supportive care, giving him IV fluids and medicine to keep him comfortable. When I picked him up he showed improvement, and after I took him to my regular vet for another couple of days he's just about back to normal.
The visit wasn't cheap; however, they kept me informed every step of the way how much things would cost and I had the option to waive certain treatments if it was out of my price range. After comparing their bill to that of my regular vet, CEVC actually charged less for many tests and medications, so I can't say they are price gauging people in their time of crisis.
I totally believe my cat wouldn't have survived without the care he received at Cabarrus Emergency Vet Clinic. I would recommend them to anyone.
