| - I should give this place one star for being responsible for the 10lbs I've gained since finding this place, but I just can't do it. The people are too nice and the doughnuts are too good. My advice, get the doughnut sundae. I mean really? Fresh, hot doughnuts with your choice of toppings with ice cream and whipped topping? Yeah, that's a wrap. So check this place out, and if you need ANYTHING, talk to the owner Dennis. And don't let his low-key demeanor throw you off. He's a SUPER nice guy and will go the extra mile for his guest. No joke, you could ask for a doughnut with topped with fresh mackerel and he'd run next door to the Vons and go right for the seafood department; if they were out, the man would grab a pole and some bait and try to make it happen. My only suggestion to the owner; one entrepreneur to another, expand the menu. Start with a few new items every week or so and keep the popular ones. I know, "It's Amy's DOUGHT Factory." Have you seen the Cheese Cake Factory menu? Oh wait, I'm sorry. Did I say "menu?" I meant catalog. But they forgot the part where they keep the popular items. I swear some of the stuff on that menu was inspired by the playdough fun food playset. AAAAAAAAAny ways. Good stuff, keep it up, but think about adding some variety. I come in so much more because of the quality of the service and the vibe if I could get something other than a step closer to type to diabetes.
