Could be better but fun for what it is. It's bigger than the other ice bar I've been to, with more to do besides drink, which is good since I don't drink! Ice shuffleboard was more fun than I expected though I think we determined one side almost always wins, maybe due to a board that's not level? The snowballs are not snowballs they are made of wool? Or some other lightweight material. Don't expect much there. I think polar "play" is a misnomer. It's more an ice bar with a few fun games. The appeal is how cold it is inside compared to how hot it is outside... but it wasn't even that busy on a Friday night! I don't see this place being that busy during the winter.
We got the groupon which definitely made it worth it. They told us the groupon doesn't cover tax, and then if you want a fur coat it's $5 otherwise the regular coats are included.
The drink glasses are plastic not ice like the other ice bar I've been to but for the cost I think plastic works. Wish they did a better job of bussing the empty cups though as I ended up stacking quite a few so they weren't in our pictures.
Overall I think it's a fun summertime activity to do once a year but I think polar "play" needs a better play element. Like the other reviewer mentioned maybe a slide? I do think there's room for a little more.
