  • I am just a regular, occasional doughnut eater and have to think about it when I read 'cake' vs. 'yeast', so take this review with a grain of salt.... I went in for a dozen doughnuts before my nephews hockey game a few weeks back. They had just opened, it was 10 am on Sunday and there were about 7-8 choices available, with more on the way. These things are massive! I would prefer something a little smaller, since even one doughnut was too much for me, having had breakfast. But aside from the size, the taste was excellent. I sampled a couple (thanks, kids!) and by far my favourites were the lemon (pucker up?), the Danforth/Greektown and the tequila lime. No one, even the kids, seemed to like the Cherry Cola. And of course, the kids loved the gummi/popcorn one, although I have no idea how it tasted nor will I ever. Owners were extremly helpful and kind. I'll be back on the rare occasion I feel like a huge pastry....
