  • While Dr. Manthei is very pleasant and kind and his office is very clean and modern, I'm very disappointed in my experience. A scan revealed a deviated septum which Dr. Manthei surgically corrected. I went in for a follow up, still experiencing difficulty breathing so it was suggested I have a balloon sinuplasty. I had this procedure done. Went in again. Still having problems. Went in another time. I think I went in a total of a half a dozen times and had multiple scans and X-rays. Upon my last visit, Dr. Manthei said he was perplexed as to why I still wasn't breathing correctly. He said he had absolutely no idea what could be wrong with me. At the suggestion of another MD, I went to see Dr. Walter Schroeder who immediately knew what was wrong with my sinuses. My whole left side is caved in! How Dr. Manthei missed this is astonishing to me. His mistake has cost me so much time and money in copays, surgeries, and procedures. I'm extremely disappointed and wish they could somehow compensate me for all of this lost time.
