  • I noticed a lot of recent reviews mentioning how their lashes fell off within a week, so I wanted to share my experience with Cherry Lash Lounge. I have been coming here since 2013 (I have been to about 4 other salons for lash extensions). I usually do 6 months of them on, and then 6 months to 1 year of them off. I usually stick to about 70% of my lashes being extended, at the most at one time. My natural lashes are very long and healthy, although they are thin in diameter. I have seen several lash artists. Kyley was my first artist and is still one of my favorites. I also like Caro's work, and as of recently LOVE Roger's work. I feel comfortable trying new artists (although I will not try an apprentice), and mostly everyone that has worked on me can achieve my look, just some better than others. There was only one girl that I wasn't pleased with, but I won't say her name (my intention isn't to diss her on yelp). I called in for a same day appointment, and wanted to get a ravishing set (70% of lashes extended) and they actually had an 8pm appt, and at the time when I called, it was like noon. She was a master artist that I had never met before. I understand she probably thought she was going home early and then half way thru her day she got this last minute appt, which was suppose to be 2hrs to 2.5 hours long. She was very sweet but I kid you not, I was only in the chair for 50 minutes, and 20 of it she was texting on her phone (I could hear it behind me and she certainly wasn't working on my eyes during that time). Then she sends me home less than hour into service saying I was even more filled than 70% lol. I could tell she just wanted to go home. Again, this was a full set meaning I had not one single lash on my eyes and it was suppose to take 2-2.5 hours. She definitely worked quickly though, but she didn't achieve my cat eye and I had no small lashes on, just medium and long ones. Non the less they still held on for 5 weeks! So I cant complain too much. So I always get a cat eye, small lashes on the inner corners that gradually go to medium in length towards the middle, and long on the outer edges, I get them all curly too. I have a very natural look, it isn't dramatic at all, but looks way better than mascara to me. I had Kylie eventually size me down in diameter of the extensions, they are so thin they are barely wider in diameter then my natural lashes, they look way thicker with just mascara on, but again it looks so natural, and they stay on FOREVER due to them being so light on my lashes now. In 2015 I was pregnant, and was using the same glue for two years (unless they changed their adhesive like some reviewers speculated), and I went in to get a full set done. Well, ALL of my lashes came off within 3 days! Non of my natural lashes came off, just the extensions. That never happened before. So I scheduled a fill with whoever I could get in with after just 4 days, and at this point I only had two extensions on that came off to the touch! I mentioned how I was pregnant, and maybe it was my hormones. They switched me to a new glue that I still use to this day, and gave me an entire new full set for free! That solved the problem completely and now I go 4-5 weeks between fills. My lash artists always comment on how well my lashes hold up. I also rarely wear any kind of eye make up and try to sleep on my back not my sides. I did purchase the sealant too, and it has lasted me a really long time. I usually seal them on the third day after a fill, and then once a week after that.
