  • My wife had a Groupon for this place and we're always looking for something different. When we arrived we were greeted immediately and invited to choose a seat. The building is not that big and looks to be set up mostly for take-out. A young man came out from the back and let us know what the special of the day was as well as the next day's special. I was sold. I had the rib tips with collard greens and mac-n-cheese. My wife had the smothered chicken with the same sides. It was served with a big piece of cornbread and sweet tea. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly like family. We saved 50% off with the Groupon on our meal so it was a complete WIN. In short this place offers a nice variety of classic soul food dishes with daily specials like ox tails and jambalaya. I would really love to see these brothas turn this idea into something much bigger and I not only wish them success but they have my business and my family will be back for more.
