| - I inquired about a used BMW for sale at this dealership and was initially treated with respect by Mike D. I made an offer based on what I felt the the car was worth and was turned down... No surprise, it's the used-car sales world after all!
Fast forward... As this car sat on their dealership lot endlessly, I sent frequent emails regarding purchasing that car, and I even upped my offer substantially until we agreed on a sale price. That is when the deal went south...
Upon agreeing on the sales price, I was told there was an additional $880 dealer fee for filling the tires w/ nitrogen, tinting the windows, adding an alarm system on the car, etching the VIN on the windows, and other miscellaneous items. For the record, the car was tinted when it was originally listed for sale, the car also comes equipped with an alarm system from factory, and I could care less about etched windows. The technology BMW applies to all the cars they manufacture is almost theft free so $880 for nitrogen filled tires felt a bit excessive to me.
I explained my concerns to Mike and was later contacted by the GM. The GM was very rude and pushy. His comments and aggressive attitude turned me off from pursuing the purchase. I explained my feelings about the charges and was fought back by belittling comments.
In the end, I decided it was best to continue on with my car search elsewhere.
