| - We recently moved back to Arizona from Colorado, and had to leave our veterinarian we grew to trust and love, which is a scary thing for someone like me who is very cautious of who gives our dogs care. After being recommended to try Scottsdale Hills by a friend, I made an appointment since my dogs needed their yearly check ups and to establish and a relationship with a new vet. We were VERY happy with the doctor and staff at this veterinary hospital. I have two huskies, and one of them is more reserved with strangers, and even she was wanting the staff to pay attention to her and being loving towards them- you know what they say, a dog is a good judge of character! We saw Dr. Besemer, and he was very attentive looking over my dogs, even feeling around all their joints to make sure nothing seemed to be having any issues (which is important for huskies!). He was very personable and easy to talk to, which is important to me, ontop of, of course, it being apparent he knew his stuff. It also helped that my dogs loved him and were appreciative of his generous offering of treats. We plan to go to Scottsdale Hills for all our dogs' care, and are very happy we found another veterinary we feel truly cares about the well beings of our dogs and not just about business (speaking of prices, they are awesome with their easy combined rate for bloodwork/hw/fecal checkups!).
