  • Like one of the reviewers, I went to Ippatsu way back in the day when it first opened. But the more I went, the less they seemed to want me there. The staff was less friendly and uninterested if you weren't super hip and funky. I just wanted a good cut, but never really got what I was looking for. I mean, do you HAVE to have pink hair to have a rebellious spirit? I wanted to like them since I enjoy supporting local businesses, but seems like they want the folks who are too cool for school. It's Champaign-Urbana for crissakes -- do we have to be so pretentious?
