  • Ok, I officially LOVE The Home Depot!! BACKGROUND I read The Life Changing Magic of Tiddying Up by Marie Kondo and I decided to get organized AF. I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get super organized without The Home Depot!! THE HOME DEPOT: THE HISTORY The Home Depot was started by two guys, Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank, in 1978. As avid DIY-ers, they envisioned a store where the employees could assist customers at any skill level to accomplish their DIY needs. Currently, The Home Depot has over 2,220 stores in 3 countries. THE STORY I've been to this location of The Home Depot for the following items/projects: *Closet Organization Martha Stewart Cloth Boxes *Plants & Garden Furniture *Garage Floor Mats *Cabinet Door Handles *Blower/Vacuum *Threshold Seal My FAVORITE trip was for the blower/vacuum. I had been sweeping and sweeping my garage to prep the floor for the epoxy, like some sort of olden timey caveman who never heard of blowers. Only when Hector, the painter, came over with a blower and effectively "swept" my garage floor in 5 seconds, did I realize I NEEDED A BLOWER in my life. I mean seriously...WHY HAVE I BEEN SWEEPING THIS WHOLE TIME, WHEN I COULD HAVE BEEN BLOWING?? The best part of the story is when I went to check out. The woman at the register said, "Is this your first blower? OHHHHH YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE IT!!" She went on and on to tell me ALL the things she blows and blows. She was right, too. I use my blower for my garage, yard, cars, ceilings to remove spider webs, dirt off of windows, ceiling fans, and more. The blower was the best $55 I've ever spent. SERVICE EXPERIENCE The staff was helpful EVERY TIME I went in. Regardless of the topic, they knew exactly where to go and gave me advice and tips to make my project easier. CONCLUSION THE HOME DEPOT IS A BLAST!! It's fun to go in, it's fun to take the stuff home and organize your house! 5/5 RECOMMEND OF NOTE *There is plenty of parking. *Make sure to check out their website for additional items not found in the store: homedepot.com *For more information on the history: https://corporate.homedepot.com/about/history
