  • What was our favorite place has become nothing more than mediocre and actually sliding worse with the passing of time. We were greeted by a blank stare when we arrived. Our server was more interested in chatting with her co-worker in the back hallway, in full view of us, as we routinely waited...for a greeting, to place our order, for water, for food to arrive, for the check. we needed to prompt her for everything. The wine: 2 inches served in a huge glass. Chianti on the verge of vinegar. Salad: Asked for no onions but extra olives. UPCHARGED for THREE additional olives! Pizza: Has become smaller with time, soggy bottomed and the price has risen. 2 adults, 1 child: 1 glass of wine, 2 small pizzas and a salad: $70 before gratuity. "Il Pizz" has taken for granted the community good will by rewarding us with smaller portions, lesser quality food and a higher priced menu. With all of the fabulous choices in the South Hills, pick another destination.
