  • "Figure out how to open the door", I was told as they chuckled and thought I would not be able to figure out the tricky hidden entrance, but I was quick and into this cocktail bar we went! *The Downtown Cocktail Room* is in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, a little off to the side the main street, but still right near the heart of town. I usually prefer going to "The Griffin", but it was cool to check out and try a different bar. Upon coming in, it has that dark vibe.. lots of posh seating and a fun and unique menu. The cocktail menu here is seasonal as they change it up, which is cool to allow a new array of cocktail recipes to try. They have a DJ playing music that matches the atmosphere here. The server who helped that evening was in training and she was great, (very knowledgeable with the drink menu as she was being observed by her trainer) and provided us with friendly service. DRINKS I tried: Waters of Mars (gin cocktail) & Sweet Georgia Brown (bourbon cocktail) Overall, a great ambiance.. come here thirsty and ENJOY. :P
