We stopped by on a very warm afternoon for lunch. We were literally the only people in the restaurant which was weird because they have a nice little patio out front that was perfect for day drinks and catching some sun.
I got the bayou bomb. Which was sweet and satisfying. Plus alcohol content was defiantly high! I got the blackened chicken, with cheese grits and cucumber balsamic salad. The grits were the best part of this dish. If I went back I would get the shrimp and cheese grits instead. The chicken was good but nothing too special. It also came with cornbread and I was very excited for this but was disappointed by it. It had an almost fake sugar flavor at the end of each bite. However nothing was so bad I wouldn't return. It was just that those things weren't my flavor!
A definite hot spot for cheese grits and day drinking on the patio!
