  • This is a post about both courses. Devil's Claw I payed this course yesterday. Let me start by saying wow. The practice facilities are excellent. From the putting greens, chipping, sand traps and driving range. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and efficient. Now for the course. Tee box to greens, excellent!!!! Well manicured fairways, bunkers were soft and the greens were smooth and with good speed. Fairly flat though. Cattail I played this course about a week ago and I loved it, loved both courses btw. Same review as above. Now that I've played both courses I can compare. Cattail is slightly shorter and Devil's Claw seamed slightly more difficult, tighter fairways and faster greens. I enjoyed cattail just a smidgeon better. Both have the typical desert scenery which I enjoy. No homes or structures to worry about just gopher holes and snakes. Carry a club when searching for your ball please. Devil's claw has more water holes but it just adds to the fun. I would definitely play either course again.
