  • In January, I purchased a groupon for a mani-pedi and my first ever gel polish manicure. The customer service was ok at best. I am a little indecisive when it comes to picking out my nail color, it that seemed to irritate my nail tech. When I finally decided on a gel nail polish, the tech applied two coats. This being my first gel manicure I trusted the nail tech when she said that two coats were enough. Two days after my first gel manicure it began to chip, within a week my professional gel manicure looked like a homemade regular manicure. So glad I didn't pay full price.
