  • This past Saturday I had yet another terrible experience with the dispatchers. The female dispatcher was extremely unpleasant. Her tone and attitude was as though I was bothering her by calling for a pick up for later that evening. I asked for a 6:45 pm pick-up. She never mentioned that they would try their best to make it at that time. When 7:00 pm rolled around and no cab, I called to check on the status. The male dispatcher was extremely rude and said that they were still trying to find a driver to take the order. I explained to him that I had reservations and asked if he could provide an ETA for a pick-up. He then put me on hold. I was on hold for so long that it began to ring again. This time a different male dispatcher answered and I had to explain my situation to him. Just like the other dispatcher, he was also rude to me. Still, at 7:15pm there was no cab, so I decided to drive myself because reservations were at 7:45pm. I never cancelled the pick-up, but yet no one from Westlake Cab called me the entire evening, therefore I assume that a cab never even attempted to pick-up me up. I usually have a very good experience with the Westlake cab drivers, but the dispatchers are the most terrible, rude, an unpleasant individuals that I have ever dealt with in regards to customer service.
