Disputed a charge on my Visa in December 2014. February 5 letter from Visa stated Visa considered it fraudulent activity on the card and I should request a new card. The letter also said if I feel the charge is not fraud and I have additional information regarding this matter, I should respond within 15 days or they would consider the matter closed. I did consider it fraud and had no additional info so I did not contact Visa. February 23 letter from Visa states their letter dated 2/5/2015 requested additional info which i did not provide so they assume matter is resolved with client directly and Visa's assistance is no longer required. The 2/23 letter goes on to say i should contact the merchant directly if I still dispute the charge.
I called the Visa 888 number today and spoke to a representative that agreed the letters make no sense. Never had a fraudulent charge before and I hope to never have another one. I guess when the fraud occurs Visa will help by letting you know where the charge comes from and then it's up to you to investigate. I thought the investigation would have been handled differently with more involvement by Visa besides providing name and phone number of the merchant.
The amount is minimal and is paid at this time. Not impressed with this Visa card from the One Nevada people.
