| - I actually have never had an appointment with Dr. Brown, but his PA Linda Silva; however, based on the other reviews here, the two sound quite similar.
The office is uncomfortably hot with almost no air flow.
I wrote out an entire list of things I wanted to discuss with Linda that had been troubling me prior to my appointment, but I could not get a word in edge-wise with her. She talked over me, made my issues seem trivial, and didn't answer any of my questions.
I am not the kind of person to sit back and let someone walk all over me, but she came in, "did her job", and left before I even knew what had happened. Throughout the exam she kept muttering things to her assistant seemingly ignoring every question or concern I had. I did hear her diagnose 2 other skin issues to her assistant which she made no effort to clarify to me personally or what I could do to improve them.
She did prescribe me a topical cream that she briefly and rapidly explained before she exited the room. When I left, I got no review sheet or comprehensive analysis of my visit. I found this extremely unprofessional. When asked if I had a prescription needing to be picked up and what it was called, the front desk staff seemed dumbfounded. The woman was ready to schedule my follow up appointment though for that 50 dollar copay.
Please do not go here. Find a dermatologist that actually cares about their patients.
