  • We were taking a redeye flight out of Phoenix and wanted a 'chill pad' for us and belongings for the time between checking out of our hotel in Scottsdale and our 11:30pm flight. (it was supposedly 107 in Phoenix that day...no way to leave all our things in the car without everything frying!) So we booked one night here. They were wonderful to let us have an early checkin, so we could drop our things and head back out to explore for a bit. (this hotel is only ~11mins from Hole in the Rocks in Papago Park!) All staff encounters were very pleasant and helpful. And the room price was faair as well, especially considering they allowed us to checkin early! Plus the room had a small refrigerator and microwave. They have ROOM SERVICE here and the prices were very fair- for room service. The only area for improvement I would suggest is the outlet placement is not very intuitive for today's gadget society and the need for constant charging. (You couldn't really sit or lay anywhere comfortable and charge your phone while you used it.) TIP: remember you are in the desert! If you want a cool room, keep the drapes CLOSED and the air on the entire time
