Everything started out great with this company but then went down hill after I signed the contract. They were fast to respond with an estimate and Eric did come out was super friendly answered all my questions and explained what needed to be done. However once the work started I had very little communication from anyone at the company. But the big issue was while repairing the roof they managed to break my sewer vent pipe that had just been replaced by a different contractor for a remodeling project I was doing inside the house. Instead of telling me about the broken pipe an offering to repair it they just dropped it inside the house and sealed over the hole in the roof. I never would have known this had happened if we didn't reopen the wall inside the house where the pipe was to look for the source of some moisture that kept appearing in the floors and walls around the pipe. when we opened up the wall we found the vent pipe broken and just venting my sewer gas into the wall.
I sent them pictures, explained what had happened and gave them the number of my contractor to try and coordinate a way to fix this. It took a few emails to several days to get them to even talk to my contractor. My contractor and I ended up just dealing with it ourselves and I still never heard back from DuraFoam in any way to offer an explanation, offer a discount or say sorry we vented poisonous flammable gasses into your house for 5 days.
Good news is my house didn't blow up and the headaches went away the day after we fixed the pipe. I should also mention they ruined the paint job on the trim of my house by leaving 2" chips every 8 feet or so all the way around the house where the nails went through the new roof and out the trim. I did send a letter with my final payment (that I shorted them due to the damage, but probably not enough) and never head back from anyone.
