This is my first time trying Portuguese seafood and I was impressed, considering by the end of happy hour you're looking at $15-$20 a person. While it may look more like a locals joint, it taste like it should be a traveler's destination for foodies. They start you off with bread and their special fish egg dill sauce, which is above expectation. The sangria is delicious. $4 gets you two servings unless you're an alcoholic. The chorizo is super flavorful. Mussels were cheesy and savory, though it only comes in three. There's some stranger type meats like snails, ox tripe and deep fried pig ears for the food adventurer. Most of their dishes come in a very well seasoned cheesy white sauce. My favorite would be the shrimp tail.
Yes it's empty, but I believe it's because it's in the wrong neighborhood. It appears causal, but it tastes fancy.
