| - We've stayed here before so we knew what to expect. It is a huge facility with obviously 1000s of customers daily. Some aspects of the Delta Chelsea were nice and appeared high end while others showed the worn out look mentioned here previously.
We checked into our cramped room and quick inspection showed dirty sheets and covers. The decor is very aged and needs an upgrade. The balcony was actually a little scary, looking up to the floor above me showed chunks of concrete missing, how much longer until there is a tragic incident here? On the first day of getting dirty sheets and covers we were stuck with them because housekeeping never came and cleaned our room. How do you just skip a room? There are two swimming pools, downstairs for kids and families and upstairs for only adults. So of course when it comes to taking a child swimming we go down to the family pool to see it crowded with a bunch of college kids carrying on, diving, splashing, throwing balls around like dodgeball, which had the kids terrified. I mentioned it to the lifeguard on duty, he said he'd tone them down, and he did, but it was too late as the kids were already terrified. The pool upstairs for adults was very nice as was the hot tub, the workout room and locker room were very nice as well, with nice amenities. Also glad to see the wifi extended to the rooms and not just in the lobby. Overall we had a decent time, and I usually don't put too much credence into some of these reviews, but they mostly appear to be true and not just competitors bashing.
