  • When I moved to AZ all my mechanical friends recommend Harbor Freight. Ever since my first visit I've been hooked. They have lots of great sales and the best prices on tools. It's definitely a smaller hardware store but the selection is great. I'd say everything but raw materials should be bought here. If you don't know what you're doing on the project, however, I'd probably hit home depot as they are more geared towards customer service. Typically they are so busy at HF, due to the sales, that all hands are on deck at the registers- not so much in the isles. I'll be back for sure.
