  • I hired Judon's Painting to paint my family room because I bought a Groupon for a very reasonable price. Let's just say I got what I paid for. I am considering having our front room painted because I am not going to try to paint the 20+ foot walls myself so I was considering this job kind of an audition. I will not be hiring them for a second job. They got paint all over my wood floors when they painted the baseboards, even though I had specifically asked them to be careful of our new wood floors. I pointed this out before they left and Jimmie went over to the spot I was pointing at and tried to rub it off, which just smeared the white paint all over the dark wood. I told him I would scrape it off after it dried (which took over an hour including scraping paint off all the windows too). As they were packing up, I noticed many spots where the paint was dripping down the walls. I asked if he had a wet roller that he could go over those with before they dried and he just wiped them off with his finger, which leaves a weird looking mark that looks just as bad as the drips. There were even spots in the corners that still have the old wall color showing through (even though he told me they did two coats of paint). Overall, I was content to have gotten the work done for cheap but I still had to do a lot of touch ups. I would have been furious if I had paid full price for such shoddy work.
