Actually I'd give 3.5 stars. The interior after the renovation is quite lovely. I'd call it minimalist/modern. There is far less seating now, so it appears almost too open. The positive spin on that is that it is much quieter now.
The food I tried was mostly good, but there are less choices since the renovation. They seem to have more cold items (sushi, not sure what the cold stuff is called). There are no traditional steamer trays now. It's pretty, white oblong serving dishes that are set on what appears to be a buffet-length heating plate. Consequently, the food is only warm, not hot.
Two frustrations that are easily remedied--there are no salt/pepper shakers on the table, so you have to ask; there is only a spoon and fork in the table service, so you have to remember to pick up a knife up on the buffet.
