Went to the strip today to try vietnams pho but found that they had merged with maiku a few doors down. So we went there.
I ordered the vegetarian bun vermicelli and a bubble tea. The waitress brought out the taro bubble tea which had maybe 4 really over soaked mushy boba in it, the actual drink was good though. The waitress then came out and told me they were out of the vermicelli and suggested the veggie pho to me so I got that instead. I just don't even know where to start. It was a few massive chunks of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and tofu, in some lightly salted water. If you have had pho broth before you know that there is so much depth and so many layers to that clear simple liquid. I had to majorly doctor it up with condiments and was bummed that I wasn't even given basil to assist in this. They did give you a hefty serving of perfectly cooked noodles though so I'll give them that.
The one star is for the kind waitress who didn't charge me for the "pho" because she knew I wanted the bun in the first place.
I will never cheat on trams kitchen again
Ps the pictures of the food on the maiku yelp page are from the old vietnams pho page they just transferred them over
