I'm from Louisiana, went to college in NOLA, and lived there for many years. As such, I've been to just about every po boy shop worth mentioning (e.g., domilise's, parasol's, parkway, gene's, guy's, johnny's, etc. etc. etc.).
Went here today and ordered the roast beef po boy and fried okra and can tell you that the roast beef can definitely stand up to all of the aforementioned nola po boy shops.
Only complaint is that the service is hit or miss which keeps this from 5 stars. It's kind of funny because that's typically normal in nola but standards are a bit higher in Vegas. They were out of hot sausage so I ordered roast beef. The cashier (take out) said she had to check on something and went to the back and didn't come back for 10 minutes. Another cashier asked me if she could help me and I said I sort of ordered a roast beef po boy. She said they were out of roast beef. So I ordered hot link. By that time the other cashier came back and said that the other cashier was wrong and that they did indeed have roast beef. No problem. They asked if I wanted a water while I waited which never came. Very very nice girls but obviously they have a little work to do on that front.
