Since moving to the neigborhood I've become an irregular at D&E. There are two distinct crowds here, the day drinkers & diners who are mostly older people and the younger night crowd. It's quiet during the afternoon but the music gets cranked up at night. This is a good place to catch a football game on Sunday.
The staff is great and there's never been a service issue during my many visits. The beer selection is good. They rotate craft brews. I like most everything I've tried on the menu. The wings are excellent and come in a variety of sauces. I prefer the honey hot and the jalepeno BBQ. Their sliders are also very good.
It's a sports bar, you get what you expect if you have reasonable expectations.
