As far as bowling alleys go, Northcross is pretty good. A lot of lanes (40 to be exact), and fairly clean as well.
As far as multi-entertainment locales go, this is where Northcross picks up some points.
The 41st Lane Lounge sports a bar and pool tables...the perfect place to spend your time while waiting for an open lane on those crowded weekend evenings.
The always-popular karaoke is available every Tues, Wed, Thurs & Fri nights starting at 9 pm. If you're lucky you can sometimes hear a drunk lady warble out a nearly-intelligible version of "Coal-Miner's Daughter"! Always great for the entertainment value.
For the younger ones (and the kid in all of us) there is a large arcade with games such as you'd find at a Chuck-E-Cheese.
All of this makes Northcross a very popular place to host birthday parties and sports awards ceremonies.
The reason Northcross only gets 3 stars overall from me is that the last time I was here with a few friends to bowl (I bowl maybe a total of 2 times a year), it was so crowded we never got a lane.
We put our name in and went to the lounge to wait, play some pool and warble along with the "Coal-Miner's Daughter" lady.
Eventually, we used up all our money on beer and pool and left without actually getting to bowl.
Lesson learned: get there early if you venture out on a weekend evening.
