We got in before dinnertime rush prior to our show at the LOT. The service was impeccable here and the decor was quite noteworthy. The ambiance was warm and welcoming.
For our appetizer, we had the fried fish fritters, crispy on the outside and nice cooked on the inside. This was served with a nice mustard/mayo sauce along with capers.
I had the pressed cubano sandwich, The ham/pork with the grainy mustard and gruyere cheese was a prefect combination. The salted plantains were a nice side. My husband had the duck confit. This was quite flavourable. The duck was well cooked with pear, apple and red cabbage. The portion were just right.
We finished off our meals with a nice cuban con leche (cuban espresso with steamed milk).
