There are mixed reviews on YELP saying the owner or the workers are not nice so I wanted to speculate for myself. The male owner may not be the nicest or the most patience person in the world but I guess if you are the owner (let alone they are planning to open another location soon soon on Lindsay and Ray), you tend to be under a lot of stress. Maybe he should learn to not put that in the business setting but it is understandable. He is really nice normally. I guess in the nail business, workers sometimes don't get a set rate of how much they make so maybe that is why they are mean sometimes. Perhaps they do not know much about the American culture where you should treat customers with respect, (Vietnamese people tend to be pretty tough and say whatever is on their mind) so they tend to be a little more rude.
I might be a little bias because I know the owners but you should give them another shot, only if you want.
Anyway, they recently renovated the shop so everything is cleaner and nicer. They have shifted some chairs and tables around so it looks more open than before.
I just had my nails done. I got a pedi and a mani and Queenie did a great job with my pedicure. I was about to fall asleep on the massage chair because it felt so good. My legs felt so soft after the treatment. I had my hands done with gel and I let her choose the color and she chose a dark purple and she put glitter on it to have an "ombre" effect and it looks pretty nice. I was satisfied.
