  • I guess this place has been here since before your Momma met your Daddy. It is definitely hit or miss though. If I'd only got the ribs, this would've been a 2 star rating. The ribs were extremely bland. No smoke ring to be seen. Should've been more suspicious when a place has been around for forever and ribs were listed as "new" on the menu. DO NOT GET THE RIBS! Moving on, the pulled pork was awesome. Their vinegar sauce plus the pulled pork was so good. Get that if you come here, for sure. The mac n cheese, skip it. Oily. Hush puppies were good. The cole slaw is a mustard based one, and it wasn't bad, just not my thing. Oh, and you guys might think it a minor thing, but they had the best freaking sweet tea. Very strong, and not overly sweet.
