| - I am very sad to write this update, but it had to be done. My last 2 experiences at City Hall were so below average that I will not be returning there. The last visit was in June (I apologize for being late on the update) and I ordered the heirloom tomato and mozzarella appetizer, but the tomatoes had mold on them. I actually ate one, before I noticed something tasted wrong. When we shined a light over it we could see large fuzzy black and green spots. We told the waitress and she said "oh, do you want another one." Obviously, my appetite was not in the mood to have more tomatoes. She sent over one of the Managers and he asked if we had another on the way and we said no, he said "oh, well we will make sure that doesn't happen again"... Um, really, that's your response? No apology, no offering of a free round on them, nothing. Next the main courses came out, and for the first time at City Hall, the steaks were cooked incorrectly. We ordered the steak medium rare and they came out well. I was over the meal at this point. As we were waiting for our bill, a different manager came over and asked about our experience. We let him know we were very dissatisfied and excited to be leaving. He was much more upset by what we told him, more so than either the waitress or the other manager we spoke to. He offered us a second glass of wine and did apologize to us. He was the only good part of the experience that night. I will likely eat at Mastro's again, but I will not return to City Hall. I suppose, I will stick to the one on Pinnacle Peak.
