| - Let me start by saying, I am a very picky person when it comes to letting people touch my hair!!
It took me a full year to decide where and what I wanted to get done. Stumbled across this gem of a salon through Instagram and some friends. I went through the stylists to see who I'd feel most comfortable with doing my hair and is well known for balayages.
This is where I came across Shane Snow the Hair Magician!
Background on my hair:
- Asian dark hair (pretty much black)
- Thick and long
- Has been previously bleached a few times but waited a year to get it done again
- Inevitable brassy tones
so from the moment I arrived I received 5/5 service from the staff! I was offered coffee, tea, or water and was seated on a large comfy couch!
Every staff member was positive, happy, and pretty much seemed to love what they were doing.
Afterwards, I explained to Shane, my stylist, what I wanted to get done and my past experiences. He reassured me that we could start by getting me to where I want to be by lightening etc.
Then 4hrs later (because I have wayyyyy too much hair), the final results were superbe! Although it wasn't as light as I'd hoped, I knew this was going to be work in progress in the upcoming months. However, Shane was lovely and worked his magic on me.
One thing you all may be wondering is the cost? Well it really depends on YOUR hair! Mine was more on the higher price point because of all the products needed and time. However, I have been to salons where I've been in the $100 price point but left not that satisfied.
THAT BEING SAID, if you want great hair you gotta pay the price. I promise you it's worth the investment!!
THANK YOU SHANE
