Repeat after me: I am here for the drinks, not the food. Now repeat for the entire duration of your journey to Porco. I feel like Yelp has really skewed this place to the positive and it's taken a domino effect. So with that in mind, here's my unbiased review.
-Parking sucks. If you are coming here during peak hours, good luck finding anywhere to park (construction lot across 25th worked for us, but you may or may not get hit by a car).
-it is too damn dark. This really bothered me, probably more than it should. I kept wondering how dirty the place would look if the lights were on just a tad brighter. Reading the menu was virtually impossible.
-Our waitress was nice, but really didn't get the social cues to stop talking. Seems as though the wait staff had one too many Tiki cocktails (this seems quite mean, but when you're trying to eat your growing colder by the second nachos and your waiter has been talking for 7 minutes about the weather, it's extreme).
-Speaking of food... actually let's not. You can make better at home. Remember Porco is catering to drunks, so their food kind of sucks.
The drinks were good (I had a level 2 painkiller) but honestly, I won't be returning. It was a one and done experience for me.
